UFC Screenings in Singapore
Fri, 09/05/2008 - 00:55
Hey
I've just arrived in Singapore and would really like to watch the upcoming UFC. Does anybody know if there are any sports bars (or anywhere at all) in Singapore that shows the UFC or any of the other MMA promotions?
Are any of them available on cable?
Thanks
Andrea

this is a good question. I was actually going to ask the same thing.
Unfortunately, I haven't heard/seen of any sports bar here in SG that shows UFC.
I usually download the fights on the net and watch it with friends.
Hope there's a place here where they screen UFC fights...it will be like World Cup
IFL shows on SCV . Not sure about the programme schedule though.

If IFL is on SCV, is Inside MMA available too, I wonder...
I've now returned to the UK (and saw UFC 85 live actually Wooh Hooh!) but I hope that MMA is more widely available to watch in Singapore (and the UK too) soon.
Thanks for replying to the thread.

IFL is shown in AXN Asia (channel 19 in starhub cable). But I find IFL a bit boring (no offense to IFL fans). Maybe because Joe Rogan is not there to make the fight a more exciting
Yeah I agree, I hope they'll make MMA noticeable in Singapore. AXN used to air The Ultimate Fighter but after 1 or 2 seasons they stopped it. I don't know why...it could be expensive and not that much ppl are watching/interested with MMA here in singapore.
But then theres Bas Rutten on IFL! I dont think Inside MMA is available. I watched UFC 85 a day after. UFC 84 was way more exciting! Cant wait for the affliction show...great fight card

true man.the affliction:bannded main event..fedor vs tim sylvia!!!wohoo..its gonna be badass.anyway war amir sadollah!!(the next ultimater fighter winner for those doesnt keep track of ultmate fighter 7)
i've got all TUF seasons and have already finish watching TUF 1, 2 and 7... and i must say.. seeing Forrest Griffin from season 1 turn into the fighter he is today is indeed an experience...
Amir Sadollah is the ultimate underdog.. in the semi finals when he faces CB Dalloway.. no one expected him to win.. but he did.. and submitted him twice via armbar..
