Former King of the Cage welterweight champion Michael Guymon will toe the line against Yoshiyuki Yoshida in a preliminary bout at UFC 113 “Machida vs. Shogun 2” on May 8 at the Bell Centre in Montreal. Nine fights are now official for the promotion’s return to the Great White North.

The UFC has made the card for their debut on Versus official. With the addition of Darren Elkins vs. Duane Ludwig the eleven bout card is set for March 21st in Colorado.<br><br>

A heavyweight match up between Junior dos Santos and Gabriel Gonzaga is also on the card while Paul Buentello vs. Cheick Kongo and James Irvin vs. Alessio Sakara round off the main card action.<br><br>

According to a report on the <a href=http://www.lasvegassun.com/news/2010/mar/09/martin-kampmann-vs-paulo-thiago-works-ufc-115/>Las Vegas Sun website</a>, welterweights Paulo Thiago and Martin Kampmann have verbally agreed to face each other at UFC 115 when the UFC makes its debut in Vancouver, BC on June 15th.<br><br>

Kampmann was forced out of a UFC 111 bout with Ben Saunders due to a cut sustained in training. He won his last bout by submission against Jacob Volkmann.<br><br>

Thiago, holds a 13-1 record and has won three of four bouts in the UFC.

Undefeated WBO NABO cruiserweight champion BJ Flores is likely to become the latest boxer to make the jump to mixed martial arts, agreeing to a non-exclusive, multi-fight contract with upstart Shine Fights after fielding offers from several promotions. Flores is likely to debut in June or July and could fight at light heayweight or middleweight.
