Hanging a punching bag

hello.:). Looking for some help here. is it possible to hang a punching bag from the ceiling using the usual method of drilling or is there a certain procedure that you have to follow? please assist.:)
Depends pretty much on the ceiling type. Better get a hardware contractor to help you out.
