Why would it be a wasted trip. go down for the trial and then decide whether you would want to join. If you are one who decides whether to join a gym base on pricing, you are better off watching taebo tapes at home.

because if the price is too expensive i cant afford it.then if i go down for the trial and i like it but unable to afford it wont it be wasted.

what is your budget then? $10 a month? welcome to the real world. it won't be a waste cos you take a bus ride down and it cost you less than 3 bucks. you go for the trial and if you like it. then work on saving up for it.

Nothing is free in this world, you want something you work for it. how expensive is expensive to you?

Go down for the trial. It's the only way you can know the actual pricing. asking for pricing of gyms through this forum is a waste of your time and valuable bandwidth.

Jesus Christ... There was a time not so long ago when all the gyms had their prices up on their sites like good businesses should. There was decency. Everything was clear, one knew exactly how much for how long. Now they make you meet the cow before they make you buy the burger. It's dumb. It's like they're hiding something. Hmmm... what could it be?!? Oh, that's right, they really want a piece of you. No matter how.

To add to what others say (btw, this applies to any other gym or club, not just fwa), yeah, go for a trial, but DO NOT bring with you any credit cards, nets, debit, cash, ANYTHING of value and DO NOT sign anything, do not give your h/p number or any contact info. Or give a phony one Grin

Most people which were victims of high pressure sales techniques do not realize that after they sign a contract they have only about 2 days of cool-off period in which they can cancel. After that they need to go to CASE and lodge a complaint. And that could take a long, long time until they manage to stop paying the subscription. If ever.
But it can be done and some people reported success.

If you checked out a few gyms already and gave yourself time to think about the pros and cons of each of them and you're really happy with your choice then by all means, join and have fun training! But, DO NOT sign up for a whole year, you don't know what's going to happen in 3-6 months from now. And it's a waste of cash anyway. Get 1 month package or so, that will give you plenty of time to see if what you were promised is what you get and also allows you to check your bank statements. It's your money, you should be in control, isn't it?

Happy holidays everyone! Nose Smile
